With more than 30 years of experience in the residential and commercial construction industry we strive to help every home and business owner with virtually every need you may have. What’s important to us is that we provide our customers and their families with a healthy, safe, and efficient home or business. Something that is seldom or ever mentioned is Radon gas. Radon gas is a known Cancer-causing Carcinogen and nearly every home and or business has some level of Radon gas. When we renovate a multi-family facility we are required to provide Radon prevention methods and monitoring according to regulations established in 2013. There are no requirements for we the home owner.
We offer a whole house ventilation system that helps eliminate all household gasses including Radon, water vapor, odors, mold spores, among other indoor contaminates. It does this by replacing the contaminated air in your home or business with cleaner fresher outdoor air, and this takes place up to 12 times every day. The cost to run the ventilation system is similar to having a 40 watt light bulb plugged in. I have had a whole house ventilation system in my basement since 2013, it runs all day long and I haven’t touched it. The Fresh & Clean Ventilation System is so quiet I forget it’s even there.
With 30+ years of concrete and foundation experience I know why foundations fail and most will fail in some degree because of pouring methods used in everyday construction primarily in the residential industry. We offer foundation inspections, repairs from wall and floor cracking, standing water, concrete waterproofing and sealing, and in some cases complete foundation replacements.

About Me
I began my construction carrier one day before my high school graduation as a union Laborer. In addition I belonged to the St. Louis Carpenter’s Union and am a current member of the Operating Engineers Local 520. As a contractor and someone who has worked in the trades I have had the privilege of having the opportunity to experience and gain a great deal of knowledge of the different trades. At KLB Contractors I have worn many hats, estimator, carpenter, equipment operator, equipment manager, field supervisor, and project manager. As a General Contractor I scheduled subcontractors for each project. As you can see from past projects I have performed site excavation, storm sewers, building footings and foundations, additions, renovations, and carpentry packages and ground up projects to completion. In additions I have done street work including sidewalks, handicap ramps, curb and gutter along with street paving. We perform selective demolition work in both residential and commercial projects. As a foundation and flatwork contractor I have an extensive knowledge of the properties of concrete, why foundations fail, unfortunately most will fail in some form or another, I would be happy to share this information with you and answer any questions you may have. I have always met or exceeded the standards set by city or county building and zoning requirements.

How many window companies are out there trying to sell you replacement windows for your home, yeah I know, it’s hard to keep track, seems like there is a new one every day. Here’s what I can tell you about us, we offer a very good window at a very competitive price. We won’t tell you you are getting something for free because in the end your not getting anything for free, if I double my price for one window and tell you that you are getting the next one free, is it really free? My first residential window project was sometime back in the mid 80’s. My first commercial window project was in the fall of 1998, it was an elderly high rise apartment building in Geneseo, Illinois and shortly after that we won a project in Kewanee, Illinois for the same type of project both for the Henry County Housing Authority. We have also done window and door replacements for a number of schools and residential homes. We offer a very good and energy efficient new construction and replacement line of windows for your home. In addition we offer Anderson replacement sashes, so if your window sash has failed we can simply replace the sash, simple and clean. As previously stated we offer nothing for free, if you are paying two to three times as much for one window, the second one isn’t free.
